Newspaper and Washi Tape Softballs

A quick post – a non cardboard one even. These newspaper and washi tape balls are great; A Nerf ball stand in for toddlers. They take minutes to put together, recyclable, your child’s first soft ball…. Hmm, paired with a cardboard tube bat? …and an indoor batting cage?

  1. Great idea! When they get sick of it, you can just recycle it, instead of ending up with the inevitable “pile of unwanted toys”

    • Unwanted toys are a big problem here. Unless you know a family who will take your old toys, there are no Salvation Army’s or Goodwill stores in our area to take things like balls and stuffed animals. You must choose between storing them in your little apartment forever and putting them in the garbage. It’s pretty depressing for me which is one reason I stopped buying toys we can’t recycle and started making toys that we can.
